Background: Merrie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design in Tampa, Florida. She has many years of hands-on home remodeling experience having renovated four of her own homes, beginning in 1988. Her current residence is a charming Bed & Breakfast in the historic Uptown business district of Wadesboro, North Carolina, about one hour east of Charlotte, NC.
